Tate Widget
Tate Widget lists details of exhibitions and events at the four Tate galleries in the UK. The widget can be configured to present a variety of information from exhibitions and symposia to talks interpreted into British Sign Language and activities for families. On the reverse of the widget there is also a field to search Tate's website.
Tate Widget runs in the Dashboard environment of Macintosh computers. It requires MacOS 10.4 Tiger.

Configuration
To change the current channel flip the widget over by clicking on the "i" in the lower right-hand corner, and then use the dropdown menu to select the desired channel. The channels are RSS feeds are generated by Tate's online calendar.
Installation
From Apple's website:
"Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you're using Safari,
click the download link. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard,
click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon
in the Widget Bar to open it. If you're using a browser other than Safari,
click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive
it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard,
click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon
in the Widget Bar to open it."
That said, you can just unzip it on your desktop, double click the widget and it will install itself after you click OK a couple of times.
